We are organising a four night residential educational adventure activity course. We will be staying in a campsite which is set in a tranquil lakeside location on the outskirts of the medieval town of Ardres situated in the Opal Coast region of Northern France in June 2018, with a company called Acorn Adventure. The accommodation combines comfort with the joy of camping, consisting of 16-18 fire retardant PVC tents each with four beds, sprung mattresses and a solid floor.
During the day the children will be participating in a variety of different activities, such as paddle boarding, canoeing, archery, visiting a supermarket and raft building.
Residential courses organised by the school are an optional, but invaluable part of the National Curriculum. Pupils benefit hugely from the experience, both educationally and socially and the adventure choice programme which we have chosen this year will prove to be both enjoyable and very worthwhile.
The trip will take place from Friday 22nd June – Monday 25th June 2018.
