Our first inter-school science was held in the Cubitt Town lab on Thursday 15th June. Children from Harbinger and Arnham Wharf joined us for our first Inter-school Science Challenge. The children were challenged to use an ecologically sound form of power and create a model car. Several factors were taken into account during the build and we had some fantastic creations. We discussed how we would decide on the best entry and agreed that distance travelled using green power would help us select the overall winner. I am pleased to announce that CTJS won with a staggering distance of 2.3m (approximately). Design prizes were won by Harbinger for a hybrid power model and a concept award was given to Arnham Wharf for thinking outside the box. Thank you to both schools for sending representatives and we hope to see you next year for a rematch!
